The board members of EU-supported Dedoplistkaro LAG attend proposal writing and evaluation training
On 23-25 February, training on proposal writing, monitoring and evaluation was organized for the representatives of Dedoplistskaro Local Action Group (LAG) in the framework of the EU supported project “Promoting Citizen Engagement for Economic Development (PROCEED)”. The workshops were attended by 16 board members and aimed at increasing qualification in proposal writing techniques and evaluation of submitted grant proposals.
The three-day training covered both delivery of the theoretical concepts and the practical skills for the development of grant applications and the use of terminology, which is important in proposal writing process and cooperation with donors, operating in Georgia. In parallel with the proposal writing techniques, emphasis was made on the evaluation of profit oriented, as well as non-profit grant applications.
As a result of the training, participants have acquired knowledge and skills for establishing cooperation with donors, as well as in evaluating grant applications under the EU ENPARD calls announced by the “Citizens Involvement for Economic Development” (PROCEED) project in Dedoplistskaro.
The EU supported ENPARD II project “Promoting Citizen Engagement for Economic Development (PROCEED)” is implemented by HEKS/EPER Georgia in partnership with the Biological Farming Association “Elkana”. The project aims at contributing to the reduction of poverty in the Dedoplistskaro Municipality of the Kakheti region in Eastern Georgia.
