HEKS-EPER announces 4th round of EU-supported rural development grant competition in Dedoplistskaro municipality

HEKS-EPER Georgia, together with Dedoplistskaro Local Action Group (LAG) and Biological Farming Association “Elkana” announces the fourth open grant competition in Dedoplistskaro municipality in the framework of the EU-supported ENPARD project “Promoting Citizen engagement for Economic Development” (PROCEED).
The grant competition covers Dedoplistskaro as well as administrative units of the municipality.  
The goal of the grant competition
the Primary aim of the competition is improvement of municipal services to ensure security of human life considering Dedoplistskaro regional strategy priorities and goals.

General Rules:
Public institutions that are directly funded from the state budget and operate on the territory of Dedoplistskaro Municipality can participate in the grant competition. An  applicant will be able to submit only one project application (Concept Note), which implies non-profit activities in Dedoplistskaro Municipality. Preference will be given to projects related to the prevention and control of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. When issuing a grant, the program provides a maximum of 90% funding. Accordingly, the applicant is required to co-finance at least 10% of the total investment value.
The minimum grant amount is 5,000 Euros (in national currency, according to the exchange rate announced by the National Bank of Georgia on the day of issue) and the maximum is 60,000 Euros (in national currency, according to the exchange rate announced by the National Bank of Georgia on the day of issue).
The grant competition consists of the following stages:
Stage I – Submission of the Concept Notes
Stage II – Submission of a Full Proposal
Stage III – approval of the grant application / signing of the contract;
