HEKS-EPER Georgia, together with Dedoplistskaro Local Action Group (LAG) and Biological Farming Association “Elkana” announces the second open grant competition in Dedoplistskaro municipality in the framework of the EU-supported ENPARD project “Promoting Citizen engagement for Economic Development” (PROCEED).
The grant competition covers Dedoplistskaro as well as administrative units of the municipality. Submitted applications will be evaluated according to the Dedoplistskaro Local Development Strategy (LDS) and its priorities.
The goal of the grant competition
The main goal of the competition is to fund projects that aim to improve living standards and socio-economic conditions, taking into consideration the priorities and objectives given in the Dedoplistskaro Local Development Strategy (LDS).

Participation in the grant competition by an applicant implies co-contribution which varies depending on the type of the application:
Commercial organizations (LTD, I/E, Cooperative, Joint Stock Company, etc… – it is mandatory to be registered at least 6 months prior to the submission of the application) Co-contribution is 40% of the total project cost; if the requested amount does not exceed 30.000 GEL the sum of the contribution is determined by 25%.
Municipal units and local authorities, non-governmental organizations – Co-contribution is 10% of the total project budget;
Cooperatives having agricultural status (it is mandatory to be registered at least 6 months prior to the submission of the application) – Co-contribution is 25% of total project budget.
Physical persons (Start-up) – Co-contribution is 25% of the total budget of the project. The grant amount should not exceed 30.000 GEL. (mandatory – to register as a legal entity after receiving a grant).
In the grant competition only those initial project proposals (Concept Notes) will be allowed to participate that envisage implementation of the projects in Dedoplistskaro municipality. The direct benefit received from the project implementation should be directed towards the priorities of the Dedoplistskaro Local Development Strategy (LDS). The Initial Project Proposals (Concept Notes) must be filled out and correspond to at least one priority of the Local Development Strategy (LDS).
