Delegation of the European Union to Georgia, together with partners, organized another fun and interesting day, this time in Lagodekhi. On Saturday, 16 June 2018, the Lagodekhi Park was transformed into “Eurovillage” for a day, taking all visitors on a journey to the European Union with fun activities throughout the day. The guests could meet various EU-funded development programmes and find out more about how the EU is helping create more opportunities for Georgian citizens.
Jondo Mdivnishvili, Mayor of Lagodekhi and Lilian Todter, Representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Georgia officially opened the Europe Day event and visited the stands of the participants.
At the event, ENPARD programme was presented by the EU-funded beneficiaries of the rural development project in Lagodekhi:
